Size Guide
Choosing the right size for a formal or occasion dress matters more than everyday shopping — you want the silhouette to feel intentional, not improvised. This guide explains how sizes work across Lolomiri, how to take your measurements accurately, and how to use the information on each product page to make a confident choice.
How Sizes Are Listed
Lolomiri dresses use letter sizing (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL). Not every style starts at the same size — some begin at XS, others at S. Always check the size options available on the specific product page before you buy.
Each product page that includes a size chart lists bust, waist, and hip measurements in inches, along with garment length where relevant. These ranges are designed to help you match your own body measurements to the size that best accommodates them. Because fit can vary between styles, the chart on one dress may not apply to another.
Taking Your Measurements
You will need a soft, flexible measuring tape. Wear the undergarments you plan to pair with the dress, and stand naturally — do not pull the tape tight or hold your breath.
- Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level across your back. Measure at the point where the tape is widest, not just under the arms.
- Waist: Find the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel. Keep the tape snug but not compressing your skin, and stay level all the way around.
- Hip: Stand with feet together and wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat, typically 7–9 inches below your natural waist.
Write down each number in inches. If a measurement falls between two whole numbers, round up rather than down when comparing to a size chart.
Reading the Size Chart on a Product Page
The measurement ranges shown on each product page represent the body dimensions that size is designed to fit. Compare your own bust, waist, and hip numbers against those ranges for the size you are considering. A size is not simply the one where all three numbers fall within range — pay attention to which area is closest to the upper limit of the range, since that is where the fit will feel tightest.
Some product pages also include a garment length measurement (for example, a maxi gown listed at 58–59 inches). This tells you how long the dress will fall from the shoulder, which is useful for understanding proportions relative to your height.
When You Are Between Sizes
Several Lolomiri dresses note on their product pages that if you are between sizes, sizing up is recommended for comfort. This guidance is specific to each item and reflects how that particular cut is designed to be worn. If a product page does not include this note, do not assume the same rule applies — instead, compare your measurements to the chart and consider whether you prefer a closer or more relaxed fit in that style.
Products described as having stretch or a slim fit through the bodice may behave differently from structured or A-line styles. Read the Fabric & Fit section on each product page for details relevant to that item.
Plus Sizes and Extended Sizing
Most Lolomiri dresses are available through 2XL and 3XL. The measurement ranges for these sizes are listed on the product page chart. If a style you want does not offer your size, check whether a similar design in the same category does.
